For ten years Griff and his crew have hosted thousands of happy guests here in beautiful Bend, Oregon. We are a Bend-based, family-owned, and operated business. Our main aspiration is to spread our love and appreciation for Nature and its elements over as many people as possible. Thus our motto, Live Outdoors! Not one day goes by when we don’t feel truly blessed to live and work here in Central Oregon. And we consider it an honor to share our passion for all things outdoors with you.
Griff Marshall has been fly fishing for thirty-five years, the last ten of those in and around Bend, Oregon. The Lower Deschutes River has become his home away from home, a river he loves more than any, and an experience he takes great pleasure in sharing with clients from all over the world. Whether for a single day or five, his enthusiasm and appreciation for the river and its canyon will rub off on anyone he fishes with. If you’ve ever wanted to experience fly fishing on the Lower Deschutes, Griff knows the river and its denizens as well as anybody.
During Griff’s life-long obsession with fly fishing, he’s traveled across continents, along the spines of America’s western mountains and along her coastline. These travels have not only made him an accomplished angler but have also created story-telling fodder for his two books about fly fishing, The Middle Fork-Trout Tales and My Mistress Whispers and Roars, which has just been published recently as its Second Edition. Our outfitting operation is second to none. Through years of honing our product on the Lower Deschutes River, we’ve created a deluxe camp for up to ten adventurers. We pride ourselves on delicious food and comfortable sleeping accommodations. Our specialty is ‘Glamping’! On an overnight trip with Griff Marshall Outdoors, everything will be taken care of. All you do is show up and fish! Our goal is to create an experience you’ll never forget and want to re-live over and over. There isn’t one aspect of a guided fly-fishing trip on the Lower Deschutes River that we take for granted.
